Shore Leave Accessibility Information

Shore Leave is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all its attendees

Parking

Limited handicap parking is available near the entrances. However, the hotel is providing a shuttle service from the large rear parking lot this year.

Main Hotel Convention Entrance

As you enter, you’ll find the vending area and stairs leading up to the lobby. To the left of the stairs is an elevator that stops at the lobby and continues up to the Lincoln Theater, where our actor guests will be hosting panels.

New and improved maps and signs will be available at all elevators to help guide you to other floors.

Accessibility Registration

The Accessibility registration table is located toward the back of the hotel lobby, next to the Pre-Registration table. We provide a ribbon for those requiring special seating, along with one companion, in accordance with ADA guidelines. ADA seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend lining up 20 minutes before general seating begins. Please note that ADA qualification for accessibility services does not guarantee seating availability.

Interpreters will be present on the main stage in the Lincoln Ballroom. Other panel rooms will have limited interpreter availability based on scheduling for the weekend. Panels with ASL interpretation will be marked with *ASL in the pocket programming sheets.

Actor Guest Autographs & Photo Ops

ADA accommodation seating is available upon request for those unable to stand in long lines. Simply show your accessibility ribbon to a Staff or Crew member, and they will assist you. Designated space for wheelchairs and scooters will be available outside the lines, while companions wait in line on their behalf.

Service animals and pets

The hotel does not allow pets but permits service animals in accordance with the law.

Disabled individuals requiring ADA accommodations, including the admittance of a service animal to convention areas, should check in with Accessibility Services to receive the appropriate badge ribbon.

Only ADA-compliant trained service dogs are allowed in convention areas.

In accordance with ADA regulations, we only accept fully trained service dogs—not emotional support animals. Dogs “in training” will also not be permitted in convention areas.

Any dog displaying fearful or aggressive behavior, such as growling, showing teeth, biting, excessive licking, uncontrolled pulling (except when assisting with a wheelchair), jumping on people, trembling in fear, or inappropriate urination/defecation, will be asked to leave immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
