TJ Perkins

TJ Perkins is a versatile and well-respected author, known for her work in Pagan teaching for both children and adults, as well as mystery/suspense for young adults and fantasy for teens. She has published 8 YA mysteries with GumShoe Press and a 5-book fantasy series titled Shadow Legacy with Silver Leaf Books. Her Pagan picture book Four Little Witches (Schiffer Publishing, 2015) won the 2016 COVR Visionary Art Award, and her book The Healthy Witch (2019) was also published by Schiffer.

A regular at local author events, Fantasy Cons, and Fairy Festivals, TJ’s short stories for young readers have been featured in publications such as the Ohio State 6th Grade Proficiency Test Preparation Book, Kid’s Highway Magazine, and the webzine New Works Review. She has placed five times in the CNW/FFWA chapter book competition. Her light horror story for tweens, The Midnight Watch, was published in 2007 by Demon Minds Magazine.

For adult readers, TJ’s award-winning short stories include Redemption in The Reading Place Anthology (2014), The Sapphire Circle in Dark Luminous Wings (2017), Thief in the Night in FLASH (2017), The Dark Defines Us in Not Far From Roswell Anthology (2020), and Perfect Insanity in the Badass Moms Anthology, among others.
