Keith R.A. DeCandido’s recent and upcoming projects include the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine short story “You Can’t Buy Fate” in issue #7 of Star Trek Explorer; Phoenix Precinct, the latest novel in his fantasy/police procedural series; the Star Trek Adventures role-playing game mission Incident at Kraav III (co-written with Fred Love); Feat of Clay, the second book in his urban fantasy series set in the Bronx, New York; the Resident Evil comic book miniseries Infinite Darkness: The Beginning, a prequel to the Netflix animated series; the urban fantasy short story collection Ragnarok and a Hard Place: More Tales of Cassie Zukav, Weirdness Magnet; a novella in Sherlock Holmes: Cases by Candlelight Volume 2 (premiering at Shore Leave this year); All-the-Way House, an origin story of the Jersey Devil from the Systema Paradoxa cryptid series; and two collaborative novels: Animal (with Munish K. Beyond his writing, Keith holds a fourth-degree black belt in karate, where he not only trains but also teaches both children and adults. He is also a professional musician, currently performing as a percussionist for longtime Shore Leave musical guests Boogie Knights, and has over 25 years of experience as a professional editor (although he typically does it sitting down).
