Kathleen David

Kathleen O’Shea David began her journey with puppetry at the tender age of 2, and more than four decades later, she continues to create “wiggling dolls” for both enjoyment and income. Throughout her career, she has explored a diverse array of fields, ranging from cancer research to the music industry. Notable positions she has enjoyed include work in puppetry, theater, and publishing. Teaming up with her husband, Peter David, she adapted the first four installments of the Japanese Manga “Negima.” Additionally, she has contributed to the literary world with her short story “On a Pedestal,” featured in the Big Finish anthology Doctor Who: Quality of Leadership. Presently, she serves as an associate editor for Time and Space magazine. Her costumes have garnered multiple accolades for their outstanding presentation and craftsmanship. Besides being a book editor, she owns No String Attached, which specializes in custom puppets, masks, and dolls. Her puppets have found homes in collections across the globe.
