Christopher D Ochs

Christopher D. Ochs began his writing journey with the epic fantasy Pindlebryth of Lenland. Drawing on his experience with the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, he later created a collection of darkly humorous short stories titled If I Can’t Sleep, You Can’t Sleep. His most recent work, My Friend Jackson, is a gritty YA urban fantasy/horror novel that was named a Finalist in Indies Today’s Best Books of 2020. In addition to his novels, several of Chris’s short stories have been featured in anthologies and on websites by the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, Bethlehem Writers Group, and Firebringer Press’ Meanwhile in the Middle of Eternity series.

Outside of writing, Chris juggles an almost overwhelming array of interests. With past careers in physics, electrical engineering, and software development, as well as ventures into CGI animation, classical organ performance, and voice acting (notably as the Voice of OTAKON), it’s a small miracle he manages to remember to feed the dog and pay his bills.
