Dayton Ward

Dayton Ward is a New York Times bestselling author or co-author of nearly forty novels and novellas, often collaborating with his best friend, Kevin Dilmore. His short fiction has been featured in over twenty anthologies, and he has written for various publications, including NCO Journal, Kansas City Voices, Famous Monsters of Filmland, Star Trek, and Star Trek Communicator. His work has also appeared on websites such as Tor.com, StarTrek.com, and Syfy.com.

Dayton’s latest project is Jurassic World: The Official Cookbook, published by Insight Editions. In collaboration with food stylist Elena Craig, the book features over 50 recipes inspired by the Jurassic World films, the fictional Jurassic World resort, and the Costa Rican and Central American regions. While the recipes are real, the book is written in-universe, presented as a fun “souvenir” you might find at one of Jurassic World’s gift shops.
