Ian Randal Strock
Ian Randal Strock is the publisher of Fantastic Books, an editor, and a writer. His fiction has appeared in Analog—where he won two AnLab awards—Nature, and several smaller magazines, as well as numerous recent anthologies. In non-fiction, he is the author of three books on presidential history, with his latest project—a humorous take on punctuation—currently being pitched by his agent.
Fantastic Books, the independent press he runs, has recently released anthologies such as Jewish Futures and Release the Virgins, along with novels and collections by authors like Allen Steele, Tanith Lee, and Michael Moorcock, among others. Ian previously edited and published Artemis Magazine and has worked on the editorial staffs of Analog, Asimov’s, Science Fiction Chronicle, Realms of Fantasy, and more. He also serves as the First Vice Chair (Vice President) of American Mensa.
