Susan Olesen
Susan Staneslow Olesen is a novelist and blogger for the Cheshire Public Library, where she also leads a writers’ group. A graduate of Wells College and The Chase Collegiate School, Susan has worn many hats throughout her life, including fruit picker, dial press operator, special education teacher, crisis intervention specialist, Disc Media Wizard, and Library Tech Assistant. She has also fostered over 50 kittens and, for more than 30 years, has been a foster parent to five children in addition to raising her own three. She and her husband manage their busy lives in Connecticut, often running in circles and tearing their hair out.
With over ten novels and two short story anthologies to her credit, Susan’s most recent work is Bitter Truths, the conclusion of the Prisoner of the Mind series. Her short story “The Ditzy Princess” is featured in the anthology The Fans Are Buried. Later this year, her stories “She Wore Red” and “Turning Tides” will be published in the Dimensions of Love anthology by Writers Unite Press.
