How much are children’s memberships?

Children 5 and under are free with paid adult membership. Children must remain in the company of their paid guardian at all times. No limit on the number of children per guardian. Note: Children will not receive the additional perks of paid memberships (e.g. badge, lanyard, etc.).
There are Teen (ages 13-17) and Youth (ages 6-12) memberships available at discounted prices. Check our Shore Leave Store for specifics.

Is there a veterans and military discount?

Active duty military personnel receive a $10 discount for weekend memberships. Use coupon code SLActiveMilitary on our Online Store, or show valid ID at convention registration to take advantage of this perk.

What are the benefits of buying online?

Buying online saves you money over at-the-door membership pricing. You skip the purchase line, just walk up to pre-registration and pick up your badge. You can also pick up your badge early Thursday evening 6-8 pm before the con.

Can I buy my membership at the door?

Yes, you can buy your membership at the door. However, if you’re planning to attend the full weekend, Friday-Sunday, you will save buying online ($25 Early Bird).

What is a membership?

A Shore Leave membership is your weekend pass to activities hosted during the convention. This includes panels, demos, performances, shopping, kids’ activities, meet and greets, gaming, cosplay, and much more. Note: some hands-on or specialty workshops may require additional entry fees.

When/where do I get my membership badge and perks?

All Membership badges and perks are to be picked up at the Shore Leave 45 convention Registration, July 11-13 at the Lancaster Wyndham Resort and Convention Center. Buy online for early badge pickup July 10 6-8pm.

How are my membership dollars used?

Shore Leave is an entirely volunteer managed and run event and is the annual fundraiser for the 501(c)3 nonprofit STAT Club of Maryland. Every dollar raised goes toward our operating costs and our Charities.

Can I get a refund on my membership?

We do not offer refunds on memberships. We will not hold memberships for the next year.

What are workshops?

Workshops at Shore Leave are hands-on, interactive, and demonstrative courses with actionable takeaways. Learn a new skill, create a masterpiece, or get tips and tricks to grow your hobby. We bring in the experts to share their craft!

Due to limited space and material costs, workshops may have a nominal registration fee. You must register for workshops before the workshop start time and pick up your ticket at Shore Leave Registration.

A Shore Leave membership is required to attend any workshop.
